A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

A waterbus arriving at Lamb Island's jetty, and creating the closest thing to 'surf' we get around the island. Our part of Moreton Bay is protected from ocean swells by North Stradbroke Island, which gives us hundreds of square kilometres of placid water for boating and fishing. In fact, it's possible to take even a small boat all the way from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast (a distance of more than a hundred kilometres) without actually having to brave the ocean.
